Collectively known as the vulva
they consist of the mons veneris, the labia majora and minora, the clitoris, the vestibule and the vaginal opening

by estrogn and progesterone

the hypothalamus

What does Estrogen deficiency in menopause result in?
night sweats, hot flashes, hot flushes, cold sweats, dry skin, loss of breast tissued and decreased vaginal lubrication
Premenstrual syndrome charactertized by?
depression and anxiety, irritability, difficulty concentrating, migraines, breast tenderness and bloating
internal male sex organs consists of…?
testes, system of tubes and ducts that conduct sperm, and organs that nourish and activate sperm.
what do the testes secrete?
male sex hormones (androgens)
and produce germ cells (sperm)
what does they hypothalamus, pituitary gland and testes do?
keep blood testosterone at a more or less constant level through a hormonal negative feedback loop.
Prostate cancer
involves the growth of malignant prostate tumours that can metastasize to bones and lymph nodes
the chief symptoms of prostatitis are painful ejacluation and an ache or pain between the scrotum and the anal opening
How erection occurs
process by which the penis become engored with blood increases in size and stiffens.

how ejaculation occurs
