Q

What are two important muscles found within the scrotal wall and what role do they play?

A
  • dartos muscle: smooth, when it contracts it wrinkles the skin which reduces the surface area of the scrotum (testis gets warmed)
  • cremaster muscle: pulls scrotal sac closer to the body in response to cold temperature to keep warm (brings close or further away from the body based on the temp.)
