Brown-Sequard Syndrome
A
- Damage to one side of the spinal cord
- Stab or gunshot wounds

Anterior Cord Syndrome
A
- Associated with flexion injuries
- Caused by loss of blood supply from the anterior spinal artery

Central Cord Syndrome
A
- Damage to the central aspect of the spinal cord
- Caused by hyperextension injuries in the cervical region

Posterior Cord Syndrome
A
- Loss of proprioception below level of lesion
- Motor function, pain, and light touch sensation remain intact

Conus Medullaris Syndrome
A
- Damage to base of spinal cord
- Results in lower limb paralysis and/or reflexive bowels
