It is uncertainty. Management do not know anything about quality. Quality department is part of manufacturing. It has fire fighting approach.
What is CMM level 2 for data quality
Level 2 is awakening. Management realize quality. Quality department is still part of manufacturing. There are short term solutions, no long term solution. There is all talk no action.
What is CMM level 3 for data quality
It is enlightenment. Management become supportive and helpful. Quality department is separate from manufacturing. Problem is faced and solved orderly.
What is CMM level 4 for data quality
Management understands absolutes of quality management. There is senior quality manager position. Problem identified at early stage.
What is CMM level 5 for data quality
It is certainty. Quality is part of company policy. Quality manager is on board of directors. Problem identified and resolved at early stage.
