Adjustable wrench
A wrench with a movable jaw that can be adjusted to fit different size bolts and nuts.
Allen wrench
A hexagonal (six-sided) wrench that fits into a recessed hexagonal hole. Used commonly with set screws.
Box-end wrench
A six or twelve sided wrench that completely encompasses a nut or a bolt head.
Combination slip-joint pliers
Pliers with adjustable jaws that are equipped with edges designed to cut soft metal wire.

A wrench that has a box-end wrench on one end and open-end wrench on the other.

A tool that is tightened around a piston to compress the rings so the piston can be installed in the cylinder.

A wrench that is similar to a box-end wrench, but has an opening so the wrench can be used on metal tubing connection fittings.

A tool that compress a valve spring so the spring retainer can be removed.
