Adjustable wrench
A wrench with a movable jaw that can be adjusted to fit different size bolts and nuts.
Allen wrench
A hexagonal (six-sided) wrench that fits into a recessed hexagonal hole. Used commonly with set screws.
Box-end wrench
A six or twelve sided wrench that completely encompasses a nut or a bolt head.
Combination slip-joint pliers
Pliers with adjustable jaws that are equipped with edges designed to cut soft metal wire.
