Introduction phase, discussion, summary

Make a good first impression. Be prepared. Be an attentive listener throughout the interview. Avoid using medical jargon.
What are the two types of interview questions?
Open ended questions (tell me about yourself, what brings you in today) and directive questions (how many days, do you become short of breath when…)

Comprehensive, problem based/focused, episodic/follow up

Data about a patient’s life that helps paint a picture of the patient’s individuality. Ex: marriage status, occupation, religion, address, phone #
