A

Most ordinary Muslims believe that fundamental Muslims are not being true to the original teachings of the Qu’ran and Muhammed (it is a distortion of the real world faith)

A

Jesus was found to accept people who were different e.g Samaritans and Roman, and opposed the exclusivist views of other leaders e.g Pharisees

Why do some people reject exclusivism?

A
  • Illogical
  • No way to prove one religion right
  • If there was a clear ‘true’ religion we would all agree on it
  • The “I’m right, you’re wrong!” approach is very harsh and unwelcoming
