Dartmouth: opened in 1754 as a Christian school for Indians.
Princeton: chartered in 1746 (originally known as the college of New Jersey) as a school of distinguished spiritual character and leadership.
Harvard: started in 1636 and it’s purpose was to study the knowledge of God and Jesus Christ which is eternal life.
Yale: opened in 1701 and opened to provide an orthodox alternative to Harvard
