Femto = -15
Pico= -12
Nano= -9
Micro =-6
Mili = -3
Centi= -2
Deci= -1
Kilo = 3

Q

Vectors have a mangnitude and a direction

What is displacement

A

So the distance is the total length between two points in a route

The displace tan is the SHORTEST distance in a straight line between two points

Q

How to add vectors?
If parallel
- if perpendicular

A
  • if parallel add them by giving them directions then adding
  • if perpendicular make a HEAD TO TOE TAIL DOAGRAM, find the resultant force and the ANGLE as vectors have both remember!

3) if non perpendicular , resolve into components , add them etc and then do a triangle and find ANGLE!

Q

Why is power a scalar even tho force x distance

A

This force can only act in one direction making it a scalar essentially

Something like Moment can happen in two directions so vector!

Q

Remember when do you discard a value! And not include it in calculations?

A

Basically when its several orders of magnitude below , like 3 times then leave it
