What are the characteristics of sprayed vegetables? (2)
- Grown using manure, fertiliser, and pesticides to get the largest and best yield
- Strict regulations to forbid harmful substances

Adding, deleting, or changing the hereditary characteristics of a living organism. Advantages: 1. Less pesticides 2. Remove food shortages 3. Improve health care

What does Endive look like?
They look like an oval made up of curly, narrow, mid-green leaves. The leaves have a pale, sometimes slightly prickly stalks that extend into erratically-shaped leafy projections.
What does a butter head look like?
It is a type of lettuce that has loose, round-shaped heads of tender, sweet leaves. They usually have smooth, loosely-coiled leaves
What does Frisee look like?
It has a tousled head of dark lacy ruffles, sprouting from a pale yellow core.
What does Bok Choy (Paksoi) look like?
Has dark green leaves atop a cluster of white thick stalks.
What does Radicchio look like
Has white veins and deep reddish-purple leaves that form a round or elongated head. Looks like a colour head of lettuce.
What does Rocket look like?
Has dandelion-like succulent, elongated, lobular leaves with prominent green veins
What does Swiss Chard look like?
The leaves are large and dark green, with pronounced ribbing, and sometimes the stalks will all be one colour with stems of red, pink, orange, yellow and white.
What does lambs lettuce look like?
Has long spoon-shaped dark leaves and it is the size of a lambs tongue, and looks like multiple coming from one stem.

What does a Daikon look like?
It looks like a white carrot
What does Parsnip look like?
Looks like a pale carrot, or like a skinny version of the screaming mandrakes in harry potter
What does black salsify look like?
A thin root with green pointed leaves. It’s black on the outside.
What does radish look like?
Red shaped like bulbs with thin stalks coming from the head that turn into leaves.
What does a Kohlrabi look like?
Has a swollen globe-shaped stem that makes it look like a turnip growing on a cabbage root. Stems can be white, purple, or green and are topped with long-stemmed green leaves.
What does Jerusalem artichoke look like?
Look like a ginger root with brown skin and an irregular, lumpy shape.

What do porcini look like?
are brown-capped mushrooms with thick, white stalks
What do morels look like?
They have pitted honey-comb like ridges on an almost sponge-like cap, that has an oblong shape. Has a thick white stem
What do Chanterelle look like?
They have a wavy funnel shape and and are usually yellow.
What does horn of plenty look like?
Is funnel shaped, with thin flesh. The body is grey-black, with a white scaly layer on the stem.
What does truffle look like?
They look like a small, lumpy potato with buttons on it, almost like a raspberry
What does a chestnut mushroom look like?
Have a tan-coloured button top and a small white thick stem
What does a portobello mushroom look like?
The cap is smooth and wide, and ranges from dark brown to tan. Underneath the cap there are dark brown, fleshy gils, and the stem is white and dense.
What does a shiitake mushroom look like?
Have brown umbrella like caps with off-white gills underneath. the stems are tan.
What does enoki look like?
Look like long strings, almost like noodles.
What does oyster mush look like?
Have a white to light brown funnel-shaped cap, with whitish-yellow gills running up a short off-center the stem. Grows in a shelf-like formation
