Causes genital herpes, but it can cuase cold sores if contact is made with the mouth.
Herpes simplex 2
A general term for any bacterial infection of a woman’s pelvic organs. PID is usually caused by sexually tranmitted bacteria, especially those that cause chlamydia and gonorrhea.can be treated with antibiotics.

Asymptomatic
A genus of bacteria. Commonly causing urethritis and pelvic inflammatory disease. Most common STD.
Chlamydia
illnesses that have a significant probability of transmission between humans by means of sexual behavior. (web)
STD
A sexually transmitted disease caused by the bacterium Treponema palladium. If untreated, it can progress through three stages and cause death.
Syphilis
Usually infects the upper half of the body and causes cold sores (fever blisters), but it can cause genital herpes if contact is made with the genital area.
Herpes simplex 1
Warts that form in the genital area caused by the human papilloma viruses (HPV). These viruses also cause cervical cancer and penile cancer.
Genital warts
A sexually transmitted disease caused by the bacterium Neisseria gonorrhea that commonly causes urethritis and pelvic inflammatory disease. It may not cause symptoms, especially in women.
Gonorrhea
A sexually transmitted disease caused by the herpes simplex virus (HSV) that is usually characterized by painful blisters on the genitals. It is usually cause by HSV-2 but can be caused by HSV-1.
