A

Beaujolais AOC - fruit from anywhere in region. mostly from flat southern vineyards. high yeild, lightest body. Simple.

Beaujolais Villages AOC - group of villages in north. less fertile, stony soils control yeilds. greater intensity and body

Beaujolais Crus - 10 villages w/in villages area. Fleurie AOC is best known. Some can develop in bottle.
