Varicella-zoster - risk of shingles

What vaccine should be avoided in those that are immunocompromised e.g. methotrexate, Lupus, steroids?
Live vaccines as they can cause severe infection as a response and can lead to sepsis

Why would a child get fever post vaccine?
Response to the vaccine and shows it is working

Dose 1: 60mg (2.5ml) STAT after vaccine
Dose 2: 60mg (2.5ml) 4-6hrs after PRN
Max 2 doses in 24hrs
What antipyretic would you give in a child whose had a meningitis vaccine?
paracetamol only
60mg STAT then two more doses to follow (4-6hr gap in between)

50mg (2.5ml) STAT then 50mg (2.5ml) 6 hrs later
max 2 doses in 24hrs
