what are warning signals for a tonic clonic seizure?
changes in mood or sudden muscle jerks

the muscles contract and person lets out a cry
what happens during a clonic phase?
happens when the muscles start jerking, the eyes roll, grimace on face, biting of the tongue

strokes
what are hemorrhagic strokes?
cause by bleeding of the brain and damages rain by pressure on the tissue
what are obstructive strokes?
loss of blood flow due to clots or bacterial infection
do strokes cause permanent brain damage?

what can help with strokes?
medication for high blood pressure or surgery
what prevents strokes?
Strokes can be prevented by changes in lifestyle such as taking medication, stopping smoking, decreasing diabetes and decreasing high levels of cholesterol.
what are therapies for stroke victims?
physical therapy and speech therapy
does a single drink impair normal development?
Consuming alcohol while pregnant, especially in the 3rd or 4th week, can be developmentally delayed
what are signs of fetal alcohol syndrome?
abnormal facial development and deficient brain development
