Chapter 12 - The international context Flashcards
elaborate on the paradox
The foundation of the paradox is that for some managers, it is evident that countries are rapidly becoming more and more interrelated. To them, the importance of nations is not a big consideration, as they believe it will be wiped out in the future. They encourage a nationless world, and focus on global synergies over local responsiveness.
On the one side, we have the “global convergence perspective”. They use stats and empirical evidence that most products are in fact from the entire world. International trade is increasing.

On the other hand, the international diversity perspective.
