Q

what problems are there when Measuring Social Class?

A

Social class measurement faces challenges due to its subjective nature, multidimensional aspects, and changing work landscape. Traditional measures relying on occupation may not reflect modern job structures. Cultural, regional, and global variations, along with social mobility, complicate measurements. Inequality within classes, data reliability issues, and intersectionality further add complexity. To improve measurements, a combination of indicators and qualitative approaches considering context and historical factors is necessary.
