Persons under 18, or over 18 if immature or irresponsible, are not to be employed or to enter any facility where explosives are stored or handled except under appropriate supervision.
What must a trainee receive before going into an explosives area?
Appropriate instruction on explosives and explosive area safety.
What should personnel without core competence receive prior to employment in an explosives facility?
Instruction to an approved syllabus on the basic principles governing explosives safety, fire prevention, fire fighting and security.
