Australian Leadership Demographics
As you go up the organisation, leaders become older and more likely to be male. Shows need for succession planning. Takes long time to get to top management, invest in leadership development.
Gender inequality still prominent at senior level, but almost equal at front line leader. Little cultural diversity in top leadership positions.
Many Australians not well trained for the job - 1/4 had no post secondary formal qualifications.

Many workplaces don’t get basics right
Setting goals for employees often don’t done. Little to no KPIs.
Workplaces could benefit from improving HR practices. Performance pay in private sector, but more training in public sector.
