aggression
behavior that is intended to injure someone physically or psychologically, observable behavior, ex. pushing, insulting, shooting or stabbing someone
hostile aggression
harm doing that arises out of negative emotions such as anger, frustration, or hatred, often impulsive rather than planned, primary goal is to hurt the target
instrumental aggression
harm doing that is motivated by goals other than hurting the target, such as obtaining something value
violence
aggression is intended to cause extreme injury
relational aggression
behavior that is intended to damage and other person’s peer relationships, ex. social exclusion, rumour spreading
