What is the Planning function?
Planning involves defining goals, establishing strategies to achieve goals, and developing plans to integrate and coordinate activities.
Goals: targets/outcomes the manager wants to achieve
Strategies: ways/means to achieve the goals
Plans: actions/steps in order for goals to be achieve
What is Organising function?
Organising involves arranging and structuring work to accomplish the organizational goals.
What is Leading function?
Leading involves working with and through people to accomplish organizational goals.
What is Controlling function?
Controlling involves monitoring, comparing and correcting work performance.
Monitoring: Current performance/situation
Comparing: performance and standard
Correcting: the current situation
