What is aging?
a process or group of processes occurring in living organisms that with the passage of time lead to a loss of adaptability, functional impairment, and death.
What is secular effects?
Environmental effects that influence all people who live within an identified period. (e.g. in the 1980s, serum cholesterol decreased over 7- year interval in all age groups.
Primary aging (aging process)
universal age-related changes within species that are independent of disease or environmental influence.
secondary aging (the process of aging)
clinical symptoms and includes the effects od environment and disease.
