What do theories do?
Explain observations or situations with a lot of evidence
What is a hypothesis?
A statement that can explain observations and can be testable, falsifiable, measurable, reproducible, and objective.
What is a prediction?
A result that can be seen that has to be correct if a hypothesis is sound
What is an observational study?
Studies that are designed to answer questions to a hypothesis, mostly uses stats for variation
What is an experiment?
Most factors are kept the same and only a few are manipulated
What is the scientific method?
Make a hypothesis, make an experiment, test the hypothesis, reject or fail to reject the hypothesis
What is the Cellular Theory?
The cell is the simplest unit, acquires and uses energy, responds to surroundings, regulates functions, grows and develops, reproduces, and evolves
