what is a drug?
a chemical substance that, when taken into
the body, alters the structure or functioning of the body in some way, excluding those nutrients considered to be related to normal functioning.
what is instrumental use?
refers to the motivation of the drug user; taking a drug or substance for a specific purpose other than getting “high”
what is recreational use?
refers to the motivation of the drug user; taking drugs to get high or wasted or acheive some pleasureable effect.
