Who wrote the Bible?
Many different authors. We only know a little bit about them but we do understand the meaning of their stories.
How was the Bible inspired?
God inspired the authors of the Bible to use their own skills, talents and experiences to reveal the story of God
What is the Bible
The Bible is the sacred text of Christians. It’s a summary of God. It is divided into two parts, the Old and New Testaments. The Old Testament contains the story, laws and beliefs of people. The New Testament gives the story of Jesus and his early followers.
When was the Bible written?
The Bible was written over a thousand-year timeframe. The Old Testament was written between 1200 and 165 BC. The New Testament was written between 50 and 100 AD
What is Sacred Scripture?
Sacred Scripture is the speech of God as it is put down in writing under the breath of the Holy Spirit.
How many books can the old Testament be divided into
four groups
