German Women (Expectations)
A
- They believed a woman’s role was to provide children and raise large families.
- Expected to dress plainly and discouraged from wearing makeup and smoking.
- Expected to choose Aryan husbands.
-No being thin - not a good sign of being able to bear children

What was the BDM
A
League of German Maidens and it was an organisation for German girls AGED 14-18.
Girls were trained in domestic skills such as cooking and sewing and sometimes took part in physical activities like camping and hiking.
This prepared them for motherhood.

A
- weren’t having children so weren’t helping the state.
-They were arrested and sent to concentration camps.

- he didn’t want them passing their genes onto their children which would weaken the German people.
They ended up using euthanasia and sterilising them

Why and how did the Nazis oppress Tramps (Beggars)
A
- didn’t hold jobs, pay taxes, or contribute to society.
By 1945, 350000 men had been sterilised and 100 of them died as a result.

What did the Nuremberg Laws do?
A
- based on the idea that Jews and Germans were biologically different.
-Stopped Jews from being German citizens
-banned marriage between Jews and non-jews as well as sexual relations.
