  • Expected to dress plainly and discouraged from wearing makeup and smoking.
  • Expected to choose Aryan husbands.
    -No being thin - not a good sign of being able to bear children

What was the BDM

A

League of German Maidens and it was an organisation for German girls AGED 14-18.
Girls were trained in domestic skills such as cooking and sewing and sometimes took part in physical activities like camping and hiking.
This prepared them for motherhood.

    -They were arrested and sent to concentration camps.

    They ended up using euthanasia and sterilising them

    By 1945, 350000 men had been sterilised and 100 of them died as a result.
