Medications - mood disorders

  • SSRIs and SNRIs - blocks the reabsorption of serotonin and norepinephrine
  • mood stabilizers - Lithium is commonly used to treat BPD
  • anticonvulsants - tx BPD
  • rTMS - depression Tx - fewer cognitive and memory side effects than ECT
