Naturalistic observation

A
  • field work
  • observe individuals in their natural enviornment
  • data is generally qualitative, aiming for a complete and accurate picture of what occured, raher than a test of a hypothesis might observe from the outside (nonparticipant observation), or become an active part of the group (participant observation)
