A
erythema chronicum migrans (ring that spreads over days, center may be clear), mild tenderness, most patients otherwise aymptomatic. Some may have fever, (low grade). headache, myalgias, skin lesions, urticaria, diffuse erythema, neuromanifestations

A
circulating IgM cryoglobulins, joint fluid, CSF may show lymphocytic pleocytosis and elevated protein

A
Avoid endemic areas, wearing long sleeves and pants, frequent checks for ticks, and application of tick repellents

antimicrobial therapy, amoxicillin, doxycycline, ceftriaxone, PCN G, cefotaxime
