Ku Lian Pi ***

Kills parasites, clears damp heat; Also topically for tine infections
TOXIC should not be taken long, NOT for weak constitutions, SP/ST xu, peptic ulcers or anemia, LV HT dz, or pregnancy

NOT in pregnancy, weak Pt, or w/Hx of recent ulcers. NO fatty or oily foods while taking to prevent toxicity
Nan Gua Zi **
Sweet, neutral (30-60g)

Expels parasites and alleviates pain (suitable for decoction or direct consumption, safe); Also for insufficient lactation.
Dosage is different by dz type
Da Suan **
Acrid, warm
LI, LU, SP, ST
Kills parasites; Disperses abscesses and reduces swelling; Resolves toxicity and kills parasites; Warms the ST, strengthens the SP, promotes the movement of Qi, reduces stagnations, and resolves toxicity
NOT w/yin xu heat, may irritate skin so avoid longterm use, and not for those w/mouth, tongue, throat problems. NOT topically during pregnancy
