Define Organizational Behavior
Organization Behavior is a field of study that looks at the impact that individuals, groups, and structure have on behavior within the workplace, for the purpose of applying the knowledge gained, towards improving the organizations effectiveness

What is Systematic Study?
Systematic Study is the examination of relationships, attempting to attribute causes and effects, and basing conclusions on scientific evidence.
What is Evidence-Based Management?
Basing any managerial decisions on the best available scientific evidence
What is Intuition?
Intuition is what “points” us to what we believe is right. It provides us with that “gut feeling” that something is right. A combination of Systematic Study and EBM
What is Big Data?
An extensive use of statistical compilations and analysis
What are the 4 building blocks of Organizational Behaviour?
- Psychology: Seeks to measure, explain, and if possible control, the behaviour of humans and/or animals
- Social Psychology: Blends concepts of Psychology and Sociology.
- Sociology: Studies people in relation to their social environment and culture
- Anthropology: The study of societies to learn of their humans and activities.
Does Organizational Behaviour have absolutes?
No, they are none and if some few. Those who study Organizational Behaviour use a “contingency approach” which means basing conclusions of human behaviour on whatever contexts makes it occur
