Is an interdisciplinary study of the environment.
Ecology
One important foundation of environmental science is the science of ecology.
Agriculture
Environmental change has occurred throughout earth’s history.
Natural resource
Resources that exist without any actions of humankind.
Pollution
Is the introduction of contaminants into the natural environment that cause adverse change.
Biodiversity
The variety of life in the world or in a particular habitat or ecosystem.
Law of supply and demand
The interaction between the sellers of a resource and the buyers for that resource.
Ecological foot-print
A method promoted by the Global Footprint Network to measure human demand on natural capital.
Sustainability
Is the condition in which human needs are met in such a way the human population can survive indefinitely at a standard of living similar to the current one.
