Sex
Refers to being biological male or female based on chromosomes
Gender
refers to identification as male, female, trans, non-binary, ect
Sex Behavior
Behavior that produces arousal and increases the chance of orgasm
Homosexuality
those express emotional and sexual attraction to individuals of the same sex or gender
Bisexuality
emotional and sexual attraction to individuals of more than one sex or gender
Asexuality
state of having no sexual attraction to anyone or low/absent interest in sexual activity
Androphilic
those who are attracted to and aroused by males
Gynephilia
those who are attracted to and aroused by females
Transgender
broad term to describe those whose gender expression or identity is not congruent with the gender ascribed at birth.
Transexual
a person who psychologically identifies as a gender other than what was assigned at birth (research term, not always accepted by the community it is describing)
Gender nonconforming
someone whose gender presentation does not align with gender-based expectations
Genderqueer/gender fluid/non-binary
individuals who do not identify with the binary of male or female and may combine aspects of both
Subjectively
