Removal of Med facility form CFR Matrix.
*Segment 1 (cardiac and chocking) can’t remove
Segment 2 and 3 CFR Hold can be in effect
-On duty personal are CFR trained
-trained personal provide OXYGEN
-trained in DFib
-all equip and trained personnel are available 24/7
*Can’t remove:
NOT eligible to Facilities that do not operate 24/7
Facilities which are not “CFR hold eligible” on ALL floors
FENTANYL Incidents
Symptoms: everything is SLOW. Slowed heart rate, excessive drowsiness, pinpoint pupils, slow breathing, confusion, etc
-Removal of patient from area and removal on skin/clothes is paramount.
-IF OD suspected: and respiratory rate less than 10/min administer intra-nasal Naloxobe via:
1) Mucosal Atomiser Device (MAD):
-Adult 1mg each nostril
-Ped .5
2) NARCAN
-adult and ped. 4mg in ONE nostril wait 2-4 min
Decon:!!use of alcohol based or bleach AVOIDed
PPE decon: lightly wetted and stored in bag till decon
PCR
Completed by a member that is CFR CERTIFIED
WHEN A run involves a car accident a NYFIRS report shall be completed
Part 3 of PCR given to EMS crew
Asbestos and overhaul
LIMIT OVERHAUL in suspected area
