Find most significant tenderpoint
Physician establishes 10/10 tenderness scale
Monitors tenderpoint the whole time
Moves into position of ease with at least a 70% reduction in tenderness
Hold for 90 seconds
Slow return to neutral
Reassess
If performing HVLA on C2-C7 segment with a rotation emphasis what do you do?
Sidebend towards the direction of ease and rotate in to RB
If performing HVLA on C2-C7 segment with a sidebending emphasis what do you do?
Rotate toward direction of ease and sidebend in to RB
What is important with the AA joint?
Must be fully flexed to lock out other segments
