When a group of disorders that occur when blood vessels or nerves in the space between your collarbone and your first rib (thoracic outlet) are compressed

(Cervical Spondylosis) What is it?
- Wear and Tear to the muscles and bones. The spaces between discs gradually break down and lose fluid which act like shock absorbers

Normal part of ageing, non specific to gender but family is a big factor
(Cervical Stenosis) What is it?
- which the spinal canal starts to narrow which can cause pain and other problems
- There can be two types, Cervical, and Lumbar stenosis

- adults in their 50’s and older
(Chiari Malformation Type 1) What is it?
Structural defects in the cerebellum. That’s the part of the brain that controls balance.
- In people with chiari malformation their brain sits inside their skull in an unusual way. The change is structure can create pressure on parts of the brain and can affect the flow of fluid around the brain and spinal cord

Chiari malformations affect females more often than males

◦ Most common type of arthritis which affects millions of people worldwide
