Q

What are contraindications to CVP insertion

A
  1. Coagulopathy
  2. Respiratory Failure
  3. Raised ICP (cannot tilt head down)

CAN USE FEMORAL APPROACH IN ALL ABOVE SITUATIONS

  1. Obstructed vein (thrombus/tumour)
