Animal subcellular structure

Nucleus = contains genetic material like DNA which controls the cells activities

Cytoplasm = Jelly - like material where most chemical reactions occurs and also contains enzymes which control these chemical reactions

Cell membrane = holds the cell together, and controls things in and out of the cell

Mitochondria = Where most reactions for aerobic respiration takes place, respiration transfers energy the cells need to work

Ribosomes = Tiny structures where protein synthesis occurs

Plant subcellular structure

They have all of animal subcellular structure and additional ones :
Rigid cell wall - made of cellulose : supports cell and strengthens it
Permanent vacuole : contains cell sap, helps keep the cell turgid
Chloroplast = where photosynthesis occurs, which makes food for plant. Contains chlorophyll , a green substance which absorbs light needed for photosynthesis.
