Name all organelles and their functions
Cell wall- freely permeable layer, surrounds and supports cell.
Cell membrane-selectively permeable layer, controls entry/exit of materials
Cytoplasm-location of chemical reactions within the cell, contains organelles
Nucleus-controls all cell activity, contains DNA
Mitochondria-site of aerobic respiration
Ribosomes-site of protein synthesis
Vacuole-contains cell sap, maintains turgor
Chloroplasts-contain chlorophyll for protein synthesis
Plasmids-small loops of DNA
Which cell types are multi cellular and which are unicellular?
Animal, plant and some fungi are multicellular, bacteria and some fungi are unicellular
