Loss of visual acuity (trouble reading/recognising faces) Light sources being bright Visual impairment Changes in prescription Halo rings around vision
Signs: Stabismus, leukocoria

Referral to ophthalmology for diagnosis
Explanation of cataract surgery

Complications of Surgery
A
Posterior capsule opacification (can happen any time after operation)
Mainly infection
Macular oedema and lens positioning.
