Which are the three main functions of the cardiovascular system?
- protecting the body with white blood cells, antibodies & proteins
- regulating the body temperature, fluid pH & water content of the cells

a closed system of blood vessels & the four chambers of the heart

The arteries (red) go travel out from the heart, and the veins (blue) travel into the heart

a localized, blood-filled balloon in the wall of a blood cell

- headaches
- nausea
- seizures
- loss of consciousness
When does a heart attack occur?
when the arteries are blocked, there is no oxygen, and some heart tissues die
Which are some of the symptoms for a heart attack?
- chest pain
- vertigo
- pain in the left side of the body
