A

Can be initiated with a

  • Minimum of 3 weeks post procedure
  • Minimum of 2 weeks consistent participation in cardiac rehab

Exercise Prescription

A
  • Start with low resistance
  • One set of 10-15 repetitions
  • RPE should range from 11-13 correlated with hemodynamic response to activity
  • Rate pressure product maintained within the prescribed parameters
