BP is the last thing to go - so even though BP is ok perfusions, CO and all that jazz has already gone out the window.

bc high inspirted O2 causes some reaction that causes the PDA (patent ductus arteriosus) to close

-would use some low level O2 SAT is low and see how much it helps…

A
  • relax pulmonary arterioles to encourage more pulm blood flow
  • no effect on ductus arteriosus
