2 So some of the Pharisees said, ‘Why are you doing what is unlawful on the Sabbath?’

7 So the teachers of the law and the Pharisees, looking for a reason to accuse Jesus, kept a close watch on him to see if he would heal on the Sabbath.

12 Around that time Jesus went out to a mountainside to pray, and spent the night praying to God.

17 Then he went down with them and stood on a level place.

23 Rejoice in that day and leap for joy, because look — a great reward awaits you in heaven.

38a Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure—pressed down, shaken together, and running over—will be poured into your lap.
38a Den y se les dará. Se les echará en el regazo una medida llena, apretada, sacudida y desbordante.
38b Because with the measure you use to measure others, you yourselves will be measured.

41 Why do you focus on the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own?
