Contrast:

Cancer cells have the ability to divide more frequently

Why do things like hair loss and nausea occur with chemotherapy treatment?

A

Hair loss: Hair follicles divide extremely quickly and chemotherapy attacks any cells the divide quickly due to the fact that they think that they are the cancer cells that are dividing quickly

Nausea: Affects stomach lining and such

What occurs at the checkpoints that are different for cancerous cells?

A

Cancer cells sometimes can pass checkpoints were other abnormal cells would be stopped.
