A disease caused by an uncontrolled division of abnormal cells in a part of the body.
Cancer
A cancer arising in the epithelial tissue of the skin or of the lining of the internal organs.
Carnicomas
A malignant tumour of connective or other non-epithelial tissue.
Sarcomas
A malignant progressive disease in which the bone marrow and other blood-forming organs produce increased numbers of immature or abnormal leucocytes. These suppress the production of normal blood cells, leading to anaemia and other symptoms.
Leukemia
A substance capable of causing cancer in living tissue.
Carcinogens
Not harmful in effect.
Benign
Very virulent or infectious.
Malignant
A swelling of a part of the body, generally without inflammation, caused by an abnormal growth of tissue, whether benign or malignant.
