- Call “BRAKES SET” or “UNABLE TO SET BRAKES” as appropriate.
- Verify the tug driver response of “ROGER, BRAKES SET” or “ROGER, UNABLE TO SET BRAKES”.
Note: Hand signals are not approved for this communication.
When pushback is complete, and tug driver calls “BRAKES SET”:
Set parking brake and verify brakes set. Call “BRAKES SET, CLEAR TO DISCONNECT.”
After pushback. Salute received
C - Call “SALUTE RECEIVED, FLAPS ___.”
