C9 - Crude Oil and Fuels - C9.1 Done Flashcards

1
Q

Why can a change in fuel prices be so important to the world’s economy?

A

As every one uses fuels and crude oil for things, such as in petrol and energy, and so a change in its prices is a change that everyone would have to pay because they will still need the product (price insensitivity is high / it is a commodity)
