Metal Elements - Shiny, have high melting and boiling points, solid at room temperature, malleable and ductile when solid and good conductors

Non Metal Elements - Dull, have low melting and boiling points, half are solid while the other half are liquid at room temperature, brittle and non-ductile when solid and poor conductors
