Q

GENE
If the battery fails, the VEMD will go out and only the analogue NR indication will remain.
(or NR/N2 indication is lost)
Max KIAS 100 kts -2kt/1000”
GENE comes on if the DC system is supplied with external power.
Avoid autorotation, perform a shallow approach with a cautious landing.

A
check Ubus on VEMD
Check GENE ON
If OFF: turn on
If ON: check GEN reset CB in

Q

RED GOV in flight

RED GOV LIGHT ILLUMINATES - MAJOR GOV FAIL
On VEHICLE page: FF and END
This failure can also result in loss of 􀀧􀀧N1 and torque parameters on the VEMD.

A

check flight parameters
EBCAU engages automatically and
Yellow Gov light illuminates

avoid abrupt collective pitch changes
maintain N1 >80% when Hp

27
Q

RED GOV on Start

RED GOV LIGHT ILLUMINATES. MAJOR GOV FAIL

A

Engine Start Selector OFF immediately

28
Q

YELLOW GOV - Continuously ON

Yellow GOV light illuminates minor FADEC failure
This failure can lead to a constant NR of 394 rpm. In this case tail rotor control margins are reduced.
Avoid hover with wind from left side and lateral flight to the left

A

avoid abrupt collective changes
maintain IAS below power off VNE
LAND ASAPL
on ground, do not start engine

29
Q

YELLOW GOV - flashing at idle or during start/shutdown

Yellow GOV light illuminates minor FADEC failure

A

Governor redundancy failure,
no impact on governing function

Start-up procedure: abort start,
see maintenance manual

autorotation training: cancel training, return to base
