  • Danzig was taken from Germany and made into a free city under the League of Nations.
  • The Saar, an industrial part of Germany with coal mines and natural resources, was put under the control of the League of Nations for 15 years.
  • Germany’s colonies in Africa were given as mandates to the League of Nations, meaning Britain and France controlled them.
  • The Rhineland was demilitarised.
    Germany lost 10% of its land, including; Alsace Lorraine (France), Eupen and Malmedy (Belgium), North Schleswig (Denmark), and Sudetenland (Czechoslovakia).
  • Polish corridor, giving Poland sea access, spilt Germany in half.
